I'll be plenty cool with these two giant windows to vent the cabin.

Pulled it out of the garage to give it a bit of sun today

Vintage OEM shock anyone? A (very) liberal application of pb freed it from its prison

Did it not have chrome trim on the door? I don't even see clips.

On the lower rocker panels? Or the trim in the middle of the doors some cars had? This one hand neither

At least you got yours off; my old S-10 front shocks rotted through the shell. When I went to remove them, the square nub on the top kept rounding and breaking off all the way down to the threaded portion. I was going to get a large grinding wheel, but my Dad intervened and said "no". LOL

I didn't bother with that stupid nub. If you put a jack under the control arm, you can raise the upper enough to fit a giant vise grip in there and clamp down on the shaft itself. Worked like a charm

if that won't work, you use a long extension and a socket and just rock the thing until the stud snaps. There is always a way. I've never had that stupid nub work for anything.

On a 60F day perhaps. Quite a different story sitting in traffic with high humidity, temps north of 80F with clear skies and the sun just beating down. Even with all the windows down (true hard top) and vents open in the Fury I still ended up needing PAM to keep me from sticking to the seats.

I live in FL, I'm a pro at this temp/humidity stuff

My '84 never had a working a/c system and I survived it just fine. Hell, I have my windows down 90% of the time in my truck

Oh. I'm a polar bear. I visit my pops down there in late January early Feb for about a week or two and some days are waayy too warm and humid. Don't know how the locals do it but the beach scene sure is nice.
