Need window regulator info? 85 CV 2 dr.

When I got my 85 CV 2 door the passenger window didn't work. So since today is a nice day I pulled off the door panel. OMFG, what a mess. Now I know why. The window was held up by a pair of Vicegrips on the window slide. The motor not even hooked up. The regulator is only held with one bolt. It doesn't even seem like the regulator is the correct one for the car. Other than the one bolt holding it no other bolts line up with any other holes in the inner door skin. Plus the power connector won't even reach the motor connector, about 2" short.

    Questions:
Does the 2 door have only one window track? Mine only has one on the rear.
Are the two door regulators strictly a two door only piece? If not any other one work. new ones are not available.
    Anyone have one for sale?

Being the rarity of the 2 doors, finding one in a bone yard maybe next to impossible. So I may have to go aftermarket.
Thanks for any help I get.

One track at the rear. A bolt with a large attached washer secures to to the door jamb. Has some adjustability to it. One main post center of window the regulator slides up and down from.

I do not know if a two door regulator is two door specific or not.

I should have a two door power window regulator (from a 1987) somewhere around. Gonna be a task to locate it. This is going YEARS back like almost 10!

If I find it I can share some pics of the way it looks. Doubt I'd sell it.

According to my crash book the regulators are different 2 door to 4 door. Part# for the passenger side 2 door regulator is D9AZ6623208A. Drivers side is D9AZ6623209A. The part #s are for power window regulators. WagonMan

thank you all for the help. 87GT posting up the pages really helped. found out home ever tried to repair the window off track really screwed things up. The regulator was in the wrong place. once I put the regulator in its proper place and the windoe back on track everything works good know. Just need to lube the track so the window slides better.

amazing, put the parts where they go and it works.

Never fails to amaze me the hackjobs inside of equipment from prior bad repairs.
