Auburn Hills area, I'm not for from you.

I managed to get some interior cleaning done since I got out of work early today. I'll finish the windows and hopefully give the exterior a quick wipe down in the morning.

I plan on showing up by noon tomorrow.

For anyone who needs the address again:
    Halmich Park
    3001 E 13 Mile Rd,
    Warren, MI 48092

I plan on parking at the south side of the park along 13 Mile.

    See you there!
    Vic

I got back about 8:30. Had a great time and great food with a great bunch of peeps. A little sore from 6 hours total today in a non panther, but overall no worse for wear. Definately wanting a box Town Car now after riding in Derek's. I've always wanted one but now I want one more. It's just not in the cards right at the moment. If there's ever another Detroit area gathering I imagine I'll be back.

Glad you could make the long trip again.
I know TecNickal drove farther but, since he's up here visiting friends, you still win for driving the farthest just for the meet.

See. At a CVN event, I usually have the oldest car there. At a GMN event, I have the newest by like 7 years. Go figure.

Good time was had by all. Glad Nick gave me a heads up that this was happening otherwise I wouldn't have known.

It was a great time! Nice meeting the peeps I haven't met before and nice seeing the ones I have. Ashley is pantherless but with an HO under the hood of that '91 Mark VII I don't think she'll be going back to another one unless it's HO swapped or in the immediate future for it haha.

Nice pics by all! Vic & Kishy did a great job documenting the get together. I thought I took some of us at the park but I guess I was too wrapped up with the Aerospace 303 protectant... Here's the few I took at Vinsetta. Kishy's came out better, mine chopped off important bits of the building & such.

Since I'm such a bad person , how many months late?

Cannot tell you guys how much I enjoyed meeting you all and hanging out. Will plan my time differently next time. I'm definitely going up there again next year, same weekend. Some huge car show over in Plymouth?

I took a video in the 88 of a small "display of speed" in uh Mexico. It's unlisted. Sorry Kevin kept calling your Lincoln an 84 - when it's an 85.

I'll be up in the 89 or the 2003 next year. Hopefully the 89! With its new motor, that's the next project.

Lol, you're not late, just busy like the rest of us.
Nice video, none if us in Kevin's car even thought about getting video. I guess it should have been me since I was in the front seat.

But it is an '84: http://www.grandmarq.net/vb/showthre...-1984-Town-Car

LOL...that's pretty much the exact same thing we all said in my car. Mine did better than we thought. If I wasn't afraid of trashing the trans I might have beat on it a bit more and kept that gap a little closer.

Though, it seems like quickest acceleration in these is found around 2/3 throttle. Any further and it winds up too much before shifts and just doesn't pull anymore.

I’ll get it right one day.

                          Such an idiot.

And yes much over 2/3 throttle is a waste

                            Better late than never indeed!
Almost forgot about that video haha.

Yeah, from the looks of the video the CFI did pretty well, certainly better than I expected
Even though we were racing, I highly, highly doubt anyone on Woodward even noticed hahaha...

To us lo po panther people, we’re racing. To the newer plastic sedans, it’s just mild acceleration. I love stoplight racing against those pesky sedans, and the best part is no tickets because no one knows we’re racing but me!
