97 LTC executive cruise control on fritz

    97 LTC executive cruise control on fritz

    I always had no problems with my cruise control, until today.

    The light would go on (not always) when I activate it, but when I set it...no go. Any idea what it could be? From what I have been reading on some threads, I keep reading about some wires that are under the brake servo...I don't know

    Anybody been through this?

      The weird thing is the light comes on (on/off switch) when I try to turn it on (90% of the time) and when I engage the set cruise switch it would work 20 % of the time. And when it does work, it cuts out (cruise light still on) intermediately.

        All your brake lights working? That seemed to be a favorite response back in the day to any out of the blue cruise anomoly.

          I will have to double check that, I am sue they do otherwise I would have been rear ended, lol

            More than one bulb per side, so look close.
