    93 Crown Vic lighting question

I'm looking at a 93 Crown vic, the dash lights don't work (but the gauges do) and neither do the rear running lights.
The fuses are fine! And in the rear I have brakes lights and turn signals, so it's not the bulbs.
I'm guessing it's the headlight switch or the headlight switch plug or both.
Do the 93's have an LCM?

No LCM on a '93, that's a '95+ thing. The early Aeros use a similar headlight switch to the Boxes and can suffer from a crispy connector on the back.

I'd suspect a failed headlight switch, bad connector, or combination of both.

+1 bad headlight switch and/or connector.

Thanks guys, you have verified what I was thinking.
Now the easy part, all I have to do is fix the car!

the knob has a release tab on it and will come off the shaft pretty easy. The second knob then just pulls off. Once you have the vents off the dash... then you can take the two mounting screws out and remove the switch. If you have to replace the harness... that'll be a PITA.
