1991 Mercury Grand Marquis in NW OKC - $3500

    From the ad:

1991 Mercury Grand Marquis has only 89,000 miles, second owner. 5.0 V8 (302) runs perfect, and gets an honest 24 mpg @65 mph. New transmission upgraded by A & A Transmission in Yukon, OK. Dual exhaust, brakes, rear springs, air shocks, front shocks, sway bar bushings, transmission cooler, AC condenser, water pump, radiator, steering pump, full tune-up, gauges, all hoses, and more, replaced for added reliability. There are no leaks, drips, etc. Very smooth, tight, solid car that drives beautifully and can be driven anywhere with confidence. Power windows, seat, antenna, etc. Added tinted glass. Added excellent stereo system. Original spare tire never used. Nice original velour interior. Cruise control. Tilt steering wheel. Class III receiver hitch.

A very nice car in every way, always well-cared for. I have all receipts, original Ford factory shop manual, owners book, build sheet. The left rear door was hit in a parking lot last year, but it does work correctly. Must see to appreciate!

    *************************

Doesn't look too bad. No pictures of the damaged left rear door, no explanation of the primered hood.

Other than that, it's interesting to see the 1990 TC intake/fan shroud mod, and what looks like wagon springs out back.

Looks like a good price to me. REMEMBER, these are classic cars now.

Probably just a Lincoln air box. Doesn't look like it has a MAF attached.

Also just noticed that the trunk lid appears to be off an earlier model.

Looks like just the airbox as there's no wires going to where the MAF would be. IIRC, the MAF for those was also in a cast housing? But yeah... just looks like a tube adapter on the airbox.

Looks like the decklid is also of a different shade...like the hood, but that one is more obvious.

              Check out the headlight shades!

Since the car is in Oklahoma, one possible reason for the different hood/trunk lid could be hail damage to the originals.

'90 Town car airbox. The maf is metal on ones that have it. I've had 2. Cali town cars also had MAF's on them. On the fence but that really doesn't seem a bad deal on that car. About what i paid for this '90 which is in better, and worse condition in given areas.

Gotta wonder if someone repainted or dyed those instrument cluster needles. Those are really red looking.

I like how those aftermarket mini gauges are mounted in place of the clock.
