    Stabilizer bar diameter

    I'm looking for data about diameter of stabilizer bar - regular and "handling" one - can You help me ? Are difference in handling between them palpable ?

    I feel the difference is night and day between no bar or the stock skinny bar and a heavy bar.

    I know the addco one I installed in the TC is 1" it made the stock one look puny. I can't remember the various stock diameters, Hopefully someone will chime in.

      Found an old post see post #36. That is the skinny stock bar vs the 1" addco. There are various stock bars.

        On my 2000 MGM HPP, I have what I thought was a 28mm front bar, though the first link suggests it's 28.5mm. These are apparently equivalent to the 29.5mm police bars in terms of performance, since the larger size compensates for bends in the police bars that accommodate oil coolers. My rear bar is 21mm. I have not tried smaller or larger bars, though I can say that I have never seen a need for anything smaller or larger.
