Definitely a unique 87. Awesome that you made a deal and the car has a future other than a derby somewhere.

Slowly talking myself out of that townie. May just get the stereo done in the Vic. That'll entertain me for a while. I could do that AND buy another rifle and still spend less than buying another car. Nevermind the other expenses that come with it. But that car looks so good....

I responded to that PM.. Those don't exactly look newer. To the car maybe but they do not look like they were made within the last 8 years haha.. See if you can get that guy to get you a date code..

2 Doors in CA for $2K

Loaded '83 LTD CV 2 door in Vallejo, CA for $2k.
I see a tripminder, ATC, premium sound, power antenna, cruise control, ditch lights, and turbines.
Not sure if that's factory leather wrapped steering wheel. Also, is that manual mirrors I see? The closeup on that turbine looks like a '91 turbine to me.
Lots of odd pictures with too many people in them, but the car looks pretty good.

Only 2 crappy pictures in the ad, people in both pictures.

IMHO white is the best Tudor color. So clean. Matched with red interior and turbines for best results. Just classic.

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel awkward when they put pictures of them or other people with the car?

I disagree on the color, I like white but feel it's bland on these. Although John's 2 door looks sweet. But I dig that two tone blue, looks tits. Especially since the interior is also blue. Much want for it, can't say I've ever seen an early 2 door with a tripminder, leather, awesome paint/interior combo and premium sound all in the same car.

I wouldn't buy anything out of Frisco. Diseased with idiocy and bum shit. Also, i'm with derek on the 2-tone cars being just sexy as hell.

Cranks but wont start? I can think of quite a few cheap and easy fixes that would make this $900 very well spent.
Throw a distributor at it, make sure the inertia fuel cutoff hasn't been tripped, verify the fuel pump is pumping. Not necessarily in that order.

Of course you would need to find cloth gray seats.

Did Grand1 go to pick up that '87 CV today?
