    steering wheel switches

I don't have "wood" steering wheel, so I have basic switches with cruise control only. The question is - are switches from wood steering wheel compatible with regular steering wheel? Wiring for switch for radio and temperature are in all cars? It will be great to improve this thing in car. I know that radio is connect to some wire which can be connect with steering wheel, but I'm not sure and I don't know that EATC are connect with SW. In other words - are wiring preapre to both type of switches or if I have basic one, I can't change it to the other without changing wiring ?

For the '05+ wheels, I think all of the wiring is in place since the car uses CANBUS unlike the earlier cars that had separate modules to run stuff, but I'm not 100% since I've only dealt with the older ones. Worst case you may need to run a few wires to the respective connectors to get everything working. You should also be able to swap out your basic switches to the multi-function switches without an issue since they're the same size on the newer style wheels.

If you had the earlier steering wheels, you'd have to swap from the basic cruise steering wheel to one with multi-function since those have different openings, but in your case, that's not a problem.

When I pull the radio I found that it has 3 socket and 3 wires - I understand that 1 is antenna, 2 are speakers, but 3 one..? I wonder if my car have harness for switches from wood steering wheel...

The small one is for the subwoofer
