2011 grand marquis, anything I should be aware of?

    Double DIN radios should fit with generally no modifications. The earlier ‘95-‘02 cars with the DIN 1.5 needed extra work for fitment.

      If anything, you'll need to trim the edge of the hole out to the base of the curve (the part the stock radio bezel rests on) and that's it. This is only if the face plate doesn't clear it. Obviously removing the panel and mounting the radio in the dash may be required for that flush look, but for most double din units, I've not seen that to be needed.

      I'm still amazed that the dash is essentially the same from 95-2011 as far as the fascia goes.

        Cool awesome. I got the metra kit and wiring coming in the mail, I’ll be transplanting my double din unit that has been in every car I have owned into it,

        Also I think I’m in trouble I’m already starting to look at rims on craigslist before I even have the car... send halp!

        There’s a set of Saleen wheels on Craigslist that I wish I could get.

          An improved rear sway bar really helps. The ride is still soft but it takes the turns better.
