    Keyless Entry for 88-89 Ford/Merc. $85.
    https://www.ebay.com/p/Ford%2DOEM%2D...s=opick&thm=10

Decent 82 LTD with crummy repaint that ruined the car. Appears to have been brown/tan tutone. Interior and remaining trim tell me it’s been in the garage for most of its life. 82 premium sound with the on/off switch is a nice feature.

hm, I think that keyless entry thing was what I bypassed in Scott's Mark VII so it worked right. The remote was dicked but it would prevent the engine from being started unless you used it to unlock the doors.

Got some Copart finds today. They always seems to have some interesting stuff. It’s so hard for a regular person to get the stuff, depending on where you live.

First a relatively nice base model 85 GM with K-code rear.

Next a 79 LTD deuce door. Looks like a good project car.

That '79 is awesome. I love all the odd things that the first year panthers had. Even the clock looks like it has some weird extra trim on it.

Even the vents have little chrome accents around them. Definitely makes them pop a bit more.

What year did they stop using an expansion valve on the A/C system? I noticed that one does not have an accumulator in the normal spot.

I am sometimes asked if my 88 is a former fire department car since it accidentally got painted scarlet red (long story from 2007). Mine is not, but this one looks legit:
                  https://www.ebay.com/itm/1987-Ford-C...e/173922631803

Of course I find it ironic that the fire department felt the need to order the third row seat and my cars still don’t have them...

Too bad that FD wagon does not have the police package. Many of the FDs would order the police package especially in the 80s.
It does have the HD suspension, which is ok. Interesting car. I always wanted a California FD car.

Not sure I have ever seen a leather wrap wheel car with vinyl seats.

I guess the seller chickened out and pulled the ad. Cannot find it any longer.
