      something about that TV rod setup doesn't look quite right to me. Any chance for a view of the linkage side?

          I think the air filter housing is sitting on it and pushing the TV rod to the side... that or it’s bent.

          Here’s the one from my old 82. IIRC the rod flopped around more than I thought was normal.

            yea i was too lazy to remove the vacuum lines, so i just sat it on the side trying to get the pic

              yeah just bent a bit. I see the adjuster screw where it ought to be. Its not much of a linkage, it just touches that flat tab on the throttle and pushes on the part that moves the rod. The spring is down at the trans end I think, just barely enough to push the rod forward to keep it in contact with the throttle.

                what should i do to fix this properly? or should i just leave it since its only bent a bit
