    well that was.... eventful.

jabbed the brakes and the pedal went right to the floor.

goddamn bleeder valve wasn't tightened all the way.

But it's in it's rightful spot in my driveway until i work up the courage to get to that in the next day or so. While it's in my driveway i'll get to the speedo (probably) and the O2 sensors that aren't plugged in.

Check the codes. That means there's a transmission code.

Thats the thing. You fix one spot and now you find the next weakest link. It is a battle until it is all replaced.

went ahead and took off the line going to the FL.

getting to that splitter block is a PITA. fighting with fender liner for a solid two hours makes a 17 year old kid real angry

In time you may learn/realize spending a couple extra minutes removing stuff from your way may end up saving you struggle/hassle and time in the long run.

    Told ya

Why I hate and refuse to buy rusty vehicles any more. Uphill battle as everything fights you & most of it breaks in the process. Another thing is, since I don't have a lift and am getting old, laying on my back all contorted is starting to suck more and more.

made new brake line today, at least flared one line completely, FR lines. just need to bend that to shape and start wrenching again, then see if i can do anything with the tool i have at home.

okay, the line i made today was way too short, then i realized that bending it by hand doesn't really cut it up front. rears were passable, fronts are a no no. at least got the FL line just about set, need to re flare in the morning.

NiCu I think. I know it's not the same as what's on the car already, it's coated, that's all I specified.

I've got a line bender tool at home too, got the FL line bent to shape. just have to re-flare it to a bubble flare... Ford.
