    floor mat hook

I searched forum for these words and only got stuff about the mats n carpet. My hook is missing and I cannot feel any sort of hole it goes into on the bottom anchor portion. Does someone have one out of a car they can put up a photo of? Is it threaded and needing a nut on the bottom of floorpan? Should be dumb simple but I am obviously missing something. Thank you.

if its what I think it is, they're just a plastic thing with a flat tab on the bottom that pokes up through a hole in the carpet. Sometimes they are shaped so you can fish them in from the top kind of like a pegboard hook, but it doesn't attach to the floorpan.
