    accelerator pedal slack

Ive noticed that my pedal is close to the floor, I was wondering what size cable to buy to fix this issue, thanks

Put a zip tie between the crimp cable crimp and the plastic bushing in the top of the pedal.

Thats an old drag racers trick. Ive done it to many of my cars. The best part is not when you floor it you are actually going wide open throttle lol.

I do it because the pedal is so far down relative to the brake pedal. The diesel wasn't going wide open without the tie either, despite making all the proper adjustments to the way too freaking complicated throttle linkage system.
