New guy with a 89 Country Squire

Tired of driving what every soccer mom in town has (expedition) found this 1 owner beauty in IL. 94 year old man bought it new, had every service record including window sticker ($18750 new) serviced it very regularly, and didn't drive it in the snow. 1989 Country Squire 110000 miles.

      Welcome!

Plans for it other than hauling the family around? Looks like a nice one.

Tint, dual exhaust, wheels / tires for now. Speaking of wheels and tires I have done some searching about mustang wheels but haven't found the recommended year for best fit.

Super clean wagon. Looks almost new. Hard to believe it has that many miles.

              Welcome!

              Very nice wagon!
I had an '88 Country Squire, in the same color, about 16 years ago. Yours has a few nicer options that mine didn't have. Mine had the severe duty seats with the small head rests up front, steel wheels, and no ditch lights among the options I spot on yours.

Super nice wagon. Also real cool to see another tan interior car. Of all the colors, I seem to see that color the least.

A fair amount of the Mustang wheels need wheel spacers for proper fitment IIRC, but ‘94+ should have the same bolt pattern and center bore from there on. If you do get spacers, please get hubcentric ones.

Better off just buying wheels with proper offset. Here's some good info on a place to start. http://www.grandmarq.net/vb/showthre...85-Wheel-specs
