That's a cool two-tone paint job. Not sure why they decided to tape the for sale sign to the paint though.
Also would be interesting to see an under the hood pic. They said it has a new carb. I wonder if they just meant that the CFI unit was replaced or it was actually a carb conversion.
Questioning why people do things is an exercise in futility, lol...
Here's a wagon that just popped up as well. https://gainesville.craigslist.org/c...888630591.html
Both are too pricey for me, but maybe not if I really wanted a 2 door or a wagon.
That 89 wagon is a near twin to my 88. Same color and no wood but they have the jump seats. *jealous* My 88 even had similar wheel covers (puke) when I bought it.

Yeah, I'm surprised at how many options it has, ain't never seen an early Ford with the optional 8 track deck. God awful color combo though. Red & silver would have been fantastic. Or red & black..

Why anyone would attach a for sale sign to the paint of a vehicle ? That tells me seller/flipper does not know much or care about cars. Car is in nice shape. Color is odd but that was one of the popular combo choices in those years. I just saw a new cruise control switch in the proper color for sale. Of course the seller would not care about that.
Wagon seems to be from another flipper. New cheap gross hubcaps, glossy engine bay.
Love that tudor!! And I think the seller deserves the benefit of the doubt on the sign. I don't really see any tape showing in the pic which leads me to believe (and hope) they used a magnetic sign like this one

All of this. Makes me think of the people who put bumper stickers directly on their paint.
