    Quality car cover

    Hey guys,
I'm looking to buy a quality car cover for the grand marquis. I would like to give my wife a parking garage space so the '87 grand marquis will be outside until I can set up another arrangement. Do you all have any suggestions?

I have a covercraft weathershield HP.

I have been using a car cover on my car since 2011 or so on my 87 CV. It last about 2 years in my opinion. After that more water gets through as well as light dust. Still much cheaper than paying for a storage unit or renting a garage.

My car stays outdoors year round. Very minor scuffing from interior seams on high stress locations. A light polish always takes care of it for me. Very little dust gets though and my car looks like I put it away every time I uncover it. I also wash the car always before putting the car cover on. No sense in trapping in dirt.

It is over 500. It is worth it to me. I STRONGLY suggest getting the gust guards to go along with it. I have had the cover fly off twice AND that was with using magnets under the front and rear bumper and the center tied down. With the addition of the gust guards I have had no more issues.

Exactly the cover I use. Mine do not see continuous duty so the Marauder cover is over 15 yrs old.

This is what I have on one of my other full sizes: https://www.coverking.com/high-uv-pr...re-custom.html

It came with the car, said to be in the 500s, too. I use it only indoors, so I am pretty happy with it protecting my vehicle. Heavy quality, so it would take LOTS of wind before it would be blown away. Takes up quite some storage space, tho, when taken off.
        Regards, Alex

BTW it is cheaper to buy a coverkcraft from their retailers except for clearance and such. that is their business model.

I don't know about the quality of their outdoor covers, but their indoor covers are superb; California Car Cover Company. I have a Dustop on my Fox, and for my Harley.

My Boss came with a factory cover (was a $495 option), but it seems to be a POS.
