I really like the 81. Sharp car !! Decent price. 87 is also sharp. Big plus with this one is the fuel injection vs the VV on the 81.

My old 88 CV police car (parts car) and the 79 LTD S wagon both had manual non power windows. I actually prefer them.

But the Pacer in the background..
Throw that in for the list price and I'd think about it.

The 255 in the '81 is definitely an interesting option you never see.

I was just saying it is rare to see a 4 door civilian Vic with manual windows, I think every one I ever worked on had power windows and Locks.

Honestly I can't even believe it was an option...wow.
I thought that was only in the midsize cars..

It was not an option with the Full size Fords and Mercury. It was the standard V-8 offered a couple of years
Mid size models, it was an option.

    Ah.. OK.
My buddy had a Fairmont wagon (84?) with the 255. He exploded it..we replaced it with a 6. A 250 I think. The 6 was stronger.
That 255 had a really odd carb on it. It wasn't like the VV carbs. No idea if it was OEM but I don't know why it wouldn't be.

Jeeze. I did not open the face palm ad but that interior is faded to hell ...those seats and dash had to of been redone.

The Red Velvet Cake (many moons ago) - interior is still pretty much the same in that car. Steering wheel is a little more faded, but that's about it.
