Remote Locks

Has anybody installed or swapped in the remote locking mechanism from a Whale or another vehicle? There are a lot of Whales at the junkyard I go to and was curious. I will research how the system works and its components. I just wanted to see if anybody has done this.

I was toying with the idea at one time, mid 90's panther remote locks where completely stand-alone, so easy retrofit into anything. Google search cvn re something like 1996 or 1998 keyless entry wiring. You'd be looking for threads that date from around 2005, give or take.
