    97 Grand Marquis GS

    Hello all,

I recently inherited my grandmother's Grand Marquis. I've enjoyed taking care of some of the general maintenance that my uncles didn't take care of, but I don't need two cars, and I'm hoping another fan of these cars would like one.

ID:	1305174 is in very good shape both mechanically and cosmetically. It also has very low mileage for its age. (67,874)

The interior is clean and smoke free.

The body has maybe two tiny spots of rust on the lower interior corner of the front and rear wheel well. There is rust on components underneath the car. I will do my best to take pictures that show it accurately. Although it was garaged and used little during Chicago winters, it did get exposed to some salt over 22 years.

I changed out all the fluids with the exception of power steering and the rear differential. I replaced all four shocks, the inner and outer tie rods, the driver side lower ball joint, brake pads and rotors, front and rear sway bar end links, and the serpentine belt. It also has two new front tires. The rear ones have plenty of life left. My mechanic aligned the car after I did all this work and says it rides and brakes well. I also replaced the idle air control valve and air filter after the old one failed. Basically this car is ready to go. I used it on a trip to Green Bay from Milwaukee with four other friends with a trunk full of luggage and beer. My brother drove it all across Illinois for a couple weeks while he was here vacationing. The car is a great cruiser and I believe has plenty of life left.

The title is clean. I can also provide a vehicle history report from VIN audit.

I'm asking $5,000 but the price is negotiable.

    Thanks for your interest.
