    03 GM engine swap

    My auto mechanic buddy has swapped a 5.4 in place of a 4.6. He did this in a pickup. Anyone ever try this in a Gran Marquis??

    It's been done a few times. That said, a stock 5.4 in place of a stock 4.6 is not worth the hassle. If you build it, then it might be worth the time.

        The intake in particular is where most of the hassle is, not very many affordable and good performing options...If any at all right now.

          If it’s a naturally aspirated 2v 5.4, not worth it imho.
