    Explorer Intake

I have a stock 89 MGM. Can I swap an Explorer upper and lower intake onto it without swapping the heads as well? And, if I can, is it even worth it? I found posts about swaps with the heads but couldn't find any on just the intake. Thanks.

Someone did it on a stock engine a while ago. NitrousAl I think? It fits and functions, but I don't know how much you get from it. I sort of remember him saying it killed the low end torque, which is all these cars have going for them. I don't know if anything else had been done to the car or if there was some underlying problem that made it suck more.
