    Suspension Upgrade Help

    Hello everyone,

I have a 2007 Grand Marquis LS with the coil suspension, and I am looking to upgrade. I am looking to have my suspension be stiffer and more performance oriented without lowering my car. I have looked online but all I can find is people who have lowered the car or put airbags. As of right now, my trailer hitch scrapes going out of my driveway no matter how slow I go. Does anyone here know of suspension parts that would work for what I need. I am even OK if the car is higher with the new parts. Thank you to anyone who can help.

I have Airlift 1000 load helpers on my 93 (air bag fits inside the coil spring). Airlift doesn't show anything for 2007 though. Firestone however has one for you... https://www.truckspring.com/products...-kit-4107.aspx
There's also the option of using load helper shocks (additional coil) like this: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...=2180&jsn=2180

      Are cargo coils available?

Also as far as general handling goes, after having fully functional regular suspension parts, is an improved rear sway bar. Tires are also an integral component of handling. See my sig.

Those load helper shocks will do the trick I think. With my sub box and my tools for work, I probably have about 150lbs in the trunk at all times. I will make a post as soon as they are installed to update. I am also going to look at getting a new sway bar. The only one I see on Rock Auto is a 15mm model.

I like the 1" very much on the TC which is in the neighborhood of 25mm. But if you have no sway bar 15mm will make a difference. BTW you need end links with that.

Also cop cars may have a heavy sway. not sure but some here know.
