    Box CV speedo gear question

On the box speedo gears that drive the odometer and trip meter. The ones love to break. Are the gears different from US mph models and Canadian kph models ? I would think the number of teeth on the gear would be different.
I can get a nos kph speedometer head with gears super cheap but it is no good to me if the gears are the wrong size.
Visually the speedo looks like it fits a pre 90 CV
If anyone is really interested in it, let me know.

The plastic gears are the same. The difference comes with the digit assembly gears or the input gear from the cable in the speedo head (can't remember which - probably the input gear). Also the spring calibration for the speedometer needle is probably different.
