Anyone who has converted from a bench to buckets, or to more modern bucket seats- What did you use/like. I believe "saddle brown" mustang bucket seats would match my tan interior nicely. However they may be too low. I assume there is another set of bolt holes to accommodate buckets?

I believe you will have to drill holes at least on the inside mounts. Buckets were a rare option (if even offered on your year). Some of the cars I did swaps on had mounting holes, as buckets were common options. I had to drill holes on one car in my past. in addition to drilling, the holes had to be re-enforced to prevent the body pan from tearing due to stress. If it were me, I would not do it.

if you have a split bench the factory buckets bolt to those same holes I think. Solid bench I'm assuming does not have the inner rails. I would think the mounting holes and backing plates would already be there just because it would be more difficult to do some cars and not others but thats largely a guess.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
