    Alternator question

on a 1999 MGM can you replace the 130 amp alternator with the 135 amp alternator? Are the plugs the same?

1999 GMQ should be the 4G design with the D shaped plug. The 6G 135 amp unit uses its own unique plug. That said, you can change the connector and it’ll work fine. Everything physically fits the same. I’ve done a similar swap on my ‘97 from the 3G to the 6G with no issues.
