It was already bid to 17.2k and it did not sell in one of its previous auctions.

Looks more like an "old lady garage find" to me! If someone bid $17,200, they were tripping balls too!!!

It’s so new. Probably the newest one out there. I think National Parts Depot has a big collection of absurdly low mileage cars. But this one might not be up their alley.

Panther folk are all a little special. Or maybe it’s just me. I don’t care to be normal so it’s all good.

Things are getting out of reach nowadays with the 80's vehicles. 80/early 90 foxbody Mustangs are going for ridiculous prices...These cars which were once cheap (like the mustangs a few years back) are starting to go up in value whether we like it or not. It is just what is happening Its good on one hand for owners of said vehicles (dad has a 1985 Mustang GT 4v since new and I have this tudor CV where my father was the second owner and did the maintenance on the car since new) and not so good for a common man to get into one of them. Of course there will always be one found local in some old persons yard and sold for cheap but any online will be going for bigger money.

Yeah.. That's why I couldn't fathom paying 17k for something like that. Especially that F'n car. It's just not worth it.

I failed to notice it now has a BIN price of 12.5k.

Apparently the previous auctions bids to 17.2k were fraudulent.

I've noticed this sort of pricing online lately, not only for Vics but also box B bodies. Selection has been pretty slim, too. Still seems pretty nuts, considering how despised all these box-body cars used to be and how many sold for well under $1000.

Occurred to me I should try to sell my '81 on there for real money, then I noticed that the ones people are asking $10k+ for are still completely original, even if a bit hashed.

And I thought it was bad many years ago when someone wanted $10k for an '81 T-bird that was original right down to the ancient whitewall tires.

Seeing that, I wish I kept the 1980 TBird I had. Bought it for $400 in 1988. Nice car.
