    N🙄🙄B Intro...

    Hey All...
Names Dan. Just picked up an all original, one owner 1992 Grand Marquis LS. 49k original miles! Grandma drove it to the Doctor once a month. Normally I’m a Chevy guy, but I F**kin love this thing! So comfortable and quiet.

    Looking forward to pics.

      Welcome!

First year of the 4.6L Modular motor in the Mercury Grand Marquis.
Depending on the build date you have either an AOD transmission or the AOD-E.
I quick visual to tell is the PRNDL. I'm drawing a blank on the difference at the moment, but I'd recognize it if I saw it.
Valve seals on pre-96 weren't the best but they still ran fine, and with low miles your valve seals may be fine.

Enjoy the new to you ride! We'll point you in the right direction for any questions that you may have.

          Welcome.
There's a metric shit-ton of information here and a group of people that love the panthers. Some of these guys know the most obscure facts...
          Looking forward to seeing pix.
