1985 Mercury Grand Marquis in Conway, AR - $1,900

Looks decent, but definitely not 57K like the ad is claiming.

From the ad: "Great project car. Won’t take a lot to make brand new. Only 57000 original miles. The interior of this thing is fantastic!! I don’t have time to mess with it anymore. PM me for more details."

Looking at the odometer, the first digit 5 is set way back. Indicating a probable 157,000 miles. This could be a nice car however whoever has it now has abused it for awhile. More than likely no records available to look at. Owner might not even know when the oil was last changed.

I agree with the 157k. Cold AC & doesn't look rusty is a huge plus. It looks like it would clean up really nicely. I wonder why the seller didn't just give it a quick wash & wax. It would definitely help sell the car quicker or for perhaps more money depending on where it's selling.

Eh, if I gave a look at the pedals I'd have a better idea. Right now, I'm inclined to believe 57k as the interior and exterior are really nice. After 60k, they usually change owners a bunch and that's where the "IDGAF" attitude comes in and wrecks things.
