Wasn't the Mark III created when Iacocca asked for a Thunderbird with a Rolls Royce grille? This is (very literally) the same idea -- the Continental wagon that never was. They could've called it the Lincoln Conestoga.
My only gripe is that the hood lines coming back from the grille didn't quite work out.Comment
