    Kinda the same trick I do with a hand vacuum pump. I fill the system then open the flush T on the highest heater hose and suck the air out of that, put the cap back on the rad/tank, then release the vacuum and top up the flush T (usually an ounce or 2) and cap that. Then open the rad/tank again and top it up.

    I bought one of those vacuum deals that work on the air compressor. It's awesome. I had to have it for the Escape, but I use it in everything now.

    Iíll have to invest in an airlift tool when I get a new compressorÖlooks pretty neat. I picked up one of those Lisle funnels a few years ago. Works like a champ and keeps the coolant from spilling all over while you are waiting for the thermostat to open.

    I decided to go with the Zerex Original Green coolant. Itís good for 5 years. Hoping to get the flush done this weekend if I have time.

    thanks Sly. That thing caught a lot of crap! sons car was severely coolant neglected. Weve done 2 flushes and a third with Evaporust. helped but still rusty particles. Gonna replace the radiator hoses, seems there is rust enbedded in them. Must have run hundreds of gallons of water along with the flushes.
