Question regarding 80s LTC lacy/turbine center caps.

I have lacy aluminum wheels on both 89 TCs. The center caps are 2 5/8 inches high, ID is 5 11/16 . They are original for the car.
I have many spares center caps however last night I found out that they will not fit my car. The size is different. They are 2 3/4 high and 6 1/2 ID. None of the spares have the Ford part number tag. The only thing I can figure is the spare center caps are from the TCs from the 70s.
I do know that the plastic part with the emblem is interchangeable. It is attached with four screws.
    Any information will be appreciated.

The bigger ones are for the turbine wheels also used in the 80s. WagonMan
