That roof job kills the car for me. It is indeed a nice car, but no Panther since the Boxes can pull off a roof appliqué like that.
The price is shocking if it properly sold for $22K. Arguably though, I haven't seen another Aero anything lately except for a '95-'97 Cartier Town Car that someone owns outside my neighborhood. It's in pretty decent shape, but otherwise, that's about it. Most Panthers I see now are of '03+ year range, and more than half are pretty tired looking.
My Cars:
-1964 Comet 202 (116K Miles) - Awaiting Resurrection
-1986 Dodge D-150 Royale SE (112K Miles) - Awaiting TorqueFlite
-1987 Grand Marquis Colony Park LS (325K Miles) - April 2017 + September 2019 POTM Winner
-1997 Grand Marquis LS (230K Miles) - The Daily Workhorse & March 2015 + January 2019 POTM Winner
Wow. I lost interest in aero TC's and TC's in general once they restyled the interior to what the one in question has. Those things were $4 - $5k cars in mint shape not three years ago. I saw them for sale like that all the time. Not sure why anyone would pay that kind of money for that car, when $22 large could net something much cooler.
