Will be getting old wood grain pieces hydrodip soon in a black/gray wood grain. Was gonna wrap it but it looked cheap.

Will you put a clock on the column where the key would've gone? A watch face might fit.

May do a calculator watch since you mentioned it.

Needed a black wheel because I feared painting mine wouldn’t hold up. A member on here assisted in locating one. Turns out the 80-84 t birds came with the same wheel but black. I was able to pry apart the center covers and cut the logo out of my original and epoxied it to the black piece from the t bird and then glued if all back together. I’m pleased with it. Not bad for a 40 year old wheel.

SWEET! What are you going to do with the gap at the bottom of the wheel? Leave it or fill it in somehow?

Probably hard to tell in pic but these are leather wrapped and that’s just the seam.

OK. From the photo, it looked like the typical gap one sees in old steering wheels. The work, by the way is excellent!

Thanks for the compliments. Setting some small goals to stay focused and on track. Hopefully will get wiring done in September. Would like to have it running and driving this month. Then I will focus heavily on interior and then onto paint and body. I gave myself a year and I’m rolling on pretty good so far.

Daughter wanted to stay classic look on radio and we didn’t want to cut up dash etc. so I ordered a custom radio. 300 watts has amp and Bluetooth capabilities, 7 different color choice display, USB port, etc. it’s just sitting in place, knobs are just resting in place and not fully installed
