There should be 3 dimples in the door near the motor drill them out about 1/2" bit & you can get a socket on extension on the bolts.

If the window motor/gear has never been replaced, there will be factory divots that need to be drilled out so you can access the motor mounting bolts behind them. Then you can remove the bolts, remove the motor and replace it or the window gear as required.

Can you fully see the motor through a hole in the door? If so, you can see the other two bolts and just look for a third. There are two on the bottom (I think - haven't looked in a long time) and one on the top in a triangular pattern. Let us know if this helps!

I see the third in your photo. It is between your two fingers below the hump. It hangs out just below what the door panel covers.

Sly, That seems like it is a spot weld. There is nothing behind it but the outer door skin.

I would simply do what I already mentioned and see where the bolts are. Then you can figure where the divot is.

I agree with Frankie, might be work seeing if you can feel in there where the third bolt hole should be.

My car is a four door, so it might not be 100% the same, but here's how mine looks. Thankfully (or not thankfully) my door panels are fubar so I was able to just lift it up to take these pics..

Hopefully these pics help even though it's not a 2 door.
