    Default Drum question

I just replaced rear shoes and wheel cylinders on my 85, drums were in good shape but I have a squeak if I press very hard on the brakes. What could this be? First thing I did after buying the car cuz the old shoes were disintegrating and I didn't drive it before the new brakes

Did you turn the drums even if they looked good ? What about new spring kits ? Both, in my opinion should be done.

usually when I've had them squeak it was a ridge on the backing plate hanging the shoe up, and/or it needed a dot of grease on that spot.
