      when John's friends car fired up for the first time with the miswired MAF and the huge vacuum leak it ran so fat our eyes were burning. No converters, took about 30 seconds with both doors open for it to be an "abandon garage" situation.

      didn't figure out it had two problems immediately, fixed the maf so it would idle, then the vast sucking noise was obvious. They run a lot less dumbly when there is a throttle body gasket installed "
