    Latest update, spoke to my bud who does auto electric exclusively.
    He is picking up a generic actuator for the drivers door, and will pick up a lighted switch and fuse to be put into the dash to replace the original Ford defog switch.
    More news as events develop

        Not a big fan of "generic" actuators but hopefully you get a good one.

            Yes will wire it so that it only is energized when the car is running.
