ok let me repeat this one more time before i lose my mind:

THE MOONROOF WAS INSTALLED THE YEAR THE CAR WAS MADE BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER who i believe was a high school graduate when he got the car. i have NO idea how much it cost him, but a new one today would be in the $1,000 range. if my moonroof keeps bugging me i'm going to have a new one installed. so far no worky.. i relocated the switch from the headliner to the lower part of the dash.. actually the old 'antenna' power switch is now wired to operate the moonroof, but so far its not working.

Happy BD to teh SpeedQueen! That means my '87 has a birthday in a little more than a month. Maybe I'll put some of my Imron Safety Blue on make up for the evaporating paint.

Did teh SpeedQueen have Clear Coat paint originally?

some updated engine pics and a couple outside shots:

tires look a lil bigger to you? thats cause they are bigger. originally from my broter's '89, i saved them until i got the suspension work done. they had less than 1K miles on them. they are Futura GLS tires 235/70

also the rear WHEELS have a 1" spacer now. merely for looks.

            they clear the fenders perfectly.

                  Looks good mang.

But, cut that slack on the radiator hose clamp, and whats up with the A/C line sticking out of the Evaporator????

You did such a good job cleaning up the engine compartment, don't let a couple details ruin it!

                  Good job tho.

Looking awesome Epi. The black seems to be very deep. The wheel spacers correct an aesthetics problem every stock box has. Too bad I picked up a shimmy with mine on. I guess I would be okay now since the Vic hardly ever breaks triple digit speeds nowadays. Maybe this winter you can give me a hand with my Vic's cancer. Can't let the SpeedQueen's brother rot away! You still have that old dashpad? Lemme know if you hit any JY's soon, maybe I'll tag along.

I saw your pics in the OTBS Pic Thread a couple days ago. I was gonna ask if you changed something about the back wheels. Guess I know now.

Looks super nice mang. I'll never be happy until I find another Vic with a dealer-installed sunroof.
