    Air cleaner/Nitrous

Got the nitrous plate installed today. still need to make another AN fuel line. The plate added 1/2" to the stack heighth of the carb/air cleaner. That 1/2" made the air cleaner hit the hood. So i had to cut out the small brace in the hood, and get a new air cleaner. gone is the 14" Moroso housing, in its place is a 10" chrome housing. the new one was about 3/4-1" shorter overall.

it is only till i get some kinda scoop either a hilborn hat or a teardrop scoop. With the Moroso i can barely get the safety catch to latch, dont even think about actually closing the hood.

A drop base air cleaner might clear better.

My Moroso was a drop base air cleaner, i had to have a spacer under the air cleaner otherwise the air cleaner hits the needles on the bowls, and it presses the accelerator pump when fully seated. If i get a hood scoop ill try to get a flat base aircleaner like what Modified guys run.

Yeah, and it'd be easy to re-route 90% of it so there isn't hardly anything visible, except for the engine.
