New Wheels Installed! SAP / Sport 17" Wheels

    The fitment issue was on the FRONT, so the axles don't matter.

    Tom, no spacer was used, I used the 2001 style SAP wheel. It fits perfectly, you just need longer wheel studs because even special lug nuts would not fit up correctly.

      Furthermore, you have just shown with this post why I will not, and did not want LX sport wheels on my tudor 87 vic...

        It's been done on a 89 Marquis or something...but not on a 2-door.

                  It doesnt matter cause they fit without any problems up there too, before and after the big brakes. I had new OEM spec rotors on there from the parts store that Tom helped put on.

                      That car never got the attention (or money) this car has. I've done almost everything I've ever wanted to do to a box body on this white car.

                      Next on my list is to install the 3.73 gears and rebuild the trac lok. I have all the parts sitting on my work bench, just need to get busy.

                      Replacing the interior carpet, installing a new dashcover (I have that part too!), and installing a CD player I bought are on the to-do-list for the interior.
