New Wheels Installed! SAP / Sport 17" Wheels

The short story here is if you plan to install SAP wheels on your box body, or other aftermarket wheels, Mustang wheels, or wheels that need spacers, you may have to replace your standard wheel studs with longer wheel studs.

I used Moroso 3" Speed Start studs found here at Summit: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

So, my one day wheel swapped turned into a week long project, but man, do they look cool!

I couldn't wait until tomorrow to take pictures, so I went to a place that had some lights. They turned out kind of neat!

Tires are Michelin Pilot A/S 245/50/Z17 (Z-rated), really nice.

Please refrain from thrusting in the direction of my car!

Looks really good. What differences (if any) did you notice in handling/ride?

Rear is just fine, it's the front that's a little on the high side. Nice wheels though, looks very good!

What is standing height of the center fraim rail, front and back, if you don't mind?

          Wheels looks great though!

                  I like the wkeels.

New (98+) front springs will make it sit like that. My car has station wagon coils in the back, and its perfectly level. Its a good 2" higher in the front than a stock car with new stock springs.

Your wheels must be thinner at the mounting point, or you had longer studs installed at some point.

The front end sits up a little bit on my car but it doesn't look too bad since I have the rear end height perfect. I did the front shocks earlier this year but I did not play with the springs. If I did anything, I would cut 1/4" of a coil off and that would be perfect.

I'll snap some pictures of the car at lunch today.
