I'd have to say the same. Not all DBW's are created equally, but they all piss me off. Not so much in an auto, but in a manual car they suck.

You were probably seeing the 4.6 gasoline engine, and the 4.6 compressed natural gas engine.

Newest car we have is a 99. DBW is a scary concept, and is that why the toyota tundras are being recalled, My bro said the pedals were sticking to the floor at WOT so to speak.

Pirate posted a thread on this somewhere in here I think.

Back to whales, I'm having a hard time finding a P71 in my price range that will satisfy my OCD tendencies. As much as I like buckets, I think I like having somewhere to rest my arm even more.

I need to look harder. Just this morning I was on my way to pick up a minty Town and Country until I found out at the last minute that it had been sold.

No Toyota's have floor mats that have like failing clips or something and they are sliding and wedging in the gas pedal...

And yeah torquelover thats why I got the grand marq. I couldn't find any decent P71's for a decent price. I'd find a beat to shit 1999 white one with 200k mi for like $1200 or a nice 2003 one for like $8000 still with over 100k. Only after I bought my car did I find some nice small-town P71's with 80K miles for $4-5k

I drive a 2003 P71 and I have not had any problems at all. I love it.I will be keeping the steel wheels because they remind me of the old 60s and 70 musscle cars.

Need some of us to stop by for some counseling and intervention?

BTW, a couple weeks ago I found myself stopped for a while in a little town that had a whale Grand Marquis as one of their patrol cars. I found that vaguely amusing for some reason.
