Finding a Marauder, CV LX Sport, or MGM LSE would net the center console and bucket seats needed for the conversion as a direct bolt-in for 90+ cars. Everything 79-89 is roll your own. I've seen buckets with a (I think) Hurst shifter. No clue what seats were used in that one though. The shifter was mounted directly to the hump with the included cover and there was no center console built around it. I do not remember who's car that was. Basically just get a shifter that is compatible with the AOD transmission and you should be good. Most of them should come with everything you need.

The AOD gear selector on the trans is a 3 forward position selector, so any aftermarket shifter for C4 or C6 will work fine.
I have a Hurst Pro-Matic II that will go in mine ('86) one day... With the split bench. All FORD All The Time

I think the lever on the side of the trans needs to change. Every floor shifted AOD I've seen has a lever that points the wrong way vs the column shift models.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
