I've always liked special edition and special equipment cars. SS, RT, hell eddie bour edition. Callaway shelby roush. What build ideas come to mind with this or any car. Mach 1. bullet. I saw a late 70s bronco done up as a boss model. I thought it was pretty gnarly. What build would you do? Any car I spose.

      LTC Jack Nicklaus Special Edition.

Fucking GREEN carpet with white interior... The outside is green and white aswell.

I'd really like a shoebox Ford or Mercury with the Lincoln flatty V12. Call it a Marauder or something.

A box Marauder would've been cool as hell too. Black on black, P72 chassis and a supercharged 351 maybe?

Damn a box marauder needs built. I do wonder how they would've done it. Like you said p71 stuff a 351. Wonder if you could make a floor shifter look right. What style supercharger did people use in the 80s?

Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis SVT comes to mind for any of the 351W swapped cars; especially if one retained the EFI.

Though, if I ever get to the point of painting my CV, I will have all badging deleted.

Turbo's were REALLY popular in the 80's (and theyre back!). So maybe a turbo'd box would be more appropriate for the era

You're talking factory turbos, Brown_Muscle? I agree, but they were only ever on 4-bangers or the occasional V6 (e.g. Buick!)

As I recall 99.99% of your average schmoes were N/A. Only a relatively few (V8) show cars or race cars had either turbos or superchargers...

I mean yes, but they were also popular in pop-culture. Lots of movies with modified cars with turbos. "Look out, it's a TURBO!", although usually not a V8, like you said. I do wonder how well a box would do with a lightly modified grand national engine...or the like. Maybe a built inline 300 with a turbo? That might be more era appropriate

                    How about a "turbo-compounded" engine!!!

A factory supercharged (read terminator cobra) Marauder would have been sweet. I'm honestly surprised they even made the Marauder.

A 5.0 Ranger sport truck would have been cool.

A 460 EFI option in a PI box...

A wagon with the PI package.

Wide use of the Boss 351 engine or even just the four barrel Cleveland heads upon introduction of the Ford Small Block from 62 would have been a game changer since they'd run over all the small block chevys.

So I'm feeling a 67 Fairlane or Comet Wagon with a Boss 351 option and a mandatory manual transmission. Don't mandate the buckets. I want to haul eight friends with me.

A manual transmission option in a box.

                        A box GT???

The 5.0 ranger would have been a lot of fun. There's something about those that's easy to throw around. Terminator cobra you say..

In line 300 with turbo. I wonder how much torque and hp.

In the early 90’s my grandfather bought an 84 ranger with a clapped out 2.8 in it. He and my uncle built a 302 and put it in that truck.

I’ve always kind of liked the idea of a 428 Cobra Jet two door crown vic, silver with a black leather interior would be my preference.
