      Well, I fixed the striker on the hood. Almost all the rivets broke off and the hood wouldn't close.
      And I installed a MMC drive shaft. The aluminum one may have had around 325k on it and the u-joints were shit. So I put my spare drive shaft in.
      Now I can rebuild the aluminum at my leisure (about 3 years or so)

                I think it needs "Tank of Justice" in military script on the doors or hood.

                Also a powder-coated green frame, you know, for rust protection.

                  Well, the Tank is starting to make some terrible noises. That might be because of the oil starvation. And I forgoto to put oil in it. It stopped smoking.
                  I was on the way home from the junkyard, and I went to pass someone.
                  It didn't want to and starting making bad noises.
                  Oh well.
                  The good news is that the new piston rings showed up.
                  In other, unrelated news, I scored a damn-near brand new gas tank from a 97 vic with the sending unit for $26 at the junkyard on Saturday.
                  The wiring/connection to the tank is different than what I have, but that's why they have EVTM's.


                  Don't worry. It'll be green, too.

                    97 was a one-off year... you sure it'll fit? If it does... someone with a 97TC that needs a new tank will be very interested in that info.
