    Its true, FoMoCo parts do fit better!

    Here is but one example:

    Wiper blades............I have purchased Anco, Trico, and whatever the parts house had.........all had a universal plastic escutcheon that just does not hold the blade properly.

    I then purchased blades from FoMoCo.........the hole was 100% perfect, snug fit, wiper work as should be.

        I dunno about the situation in the U.S., but here in the more remote parts of Canada it's getting incredibly hard to find genuine Ford parts for anything over 10 years old.
        I buy a lot of NOS stuff from eBay and stuff, if it weren't for that I'd be screwed...
        Summer car-> 1988 Lincoln Town Car, triple blue, 335,xxx km. New HO 5.0 in and running. Bought 2006/08/22. June 2017 PotM!
        Winter vehicle-> 1995 Ford F-250 XLT SuperCab 4x4, 284,xxx+km. AKA "Brutus" 460/E4OD/4.10 axles and 12 MPG. Bought 2019/08/14

          After 10 years, Ford seems to obsolete things from their system. Getting old stock parts is pretty hard here too.
