The back seat in the '96 has a bit of white paint on the willow green leather seating surface. There's also a small spot of white paint on the carpet. What will work best for removing the paint without damaging the leather or the carpet? Thanks.

What kind of paint? For the leather, I'd just take a good leather cleaner/conditioner and buff the hell out of it with a soft cloth. As for the carpet, it may be a bit tougher. May have to cut it out.Nick

I've had surprisingly good results getting all kinds of crap out of car carpets with pet-stain removers... those were oil/grease/coffee based. It may work on paint too.

Use a magic eraser on the leather, just go at it lightly and it should remove the paint. For the carpet, any carpet cleaner would be a good start. Paint is tough to remove from carpet.2020 Volvo XC90 T6 Momentum (Ice White / Blonde)

Mother's is working for the leather. I think I will end up cutting off a small amount of the carpet....just to a very shallow depth, as the paint seemed to have just swiped across the surface and didn't go deep.David
