    Mark VI trunk latch

    The trunk latch on my '83 is crap...The lock and glovebox button still work.

          Bump. I'm also looking for a glove box latch. I know that many of you go to the junkyards on a regular basis, so keep me in mind. I'm willing to pay a finder's fee. Thanks!

            If you don't care about having a locking latch, The HELP section of the auto parts store either has one or can order one. Less than $10

              The glove box latch hasn't arrived yet. It's coming from Lincoln Land.

                Did you get your trunk latch yet?
                Summer car-> 1988 Lincoln Town Car, triple blue, 335,xxx km. New HO 5.0 in and running. Bought 2006/08/22. June 2017 PotM!
                Winter vehicle-> 1995 Ford F-250 XLT SuperCab 4x4, 284,xxx+km. AKA "Brutus" 460/E4OD/4.10 axles and 12 MPG. Bought 2019/08/14

                    My glovebox latch was busted and I picked up one that matched with a missing key off eBay for cheap. For me, the scissor clips on the inside broke. I basically just swapped the good internals into my original glove box latch and was able to keep the original one I had. Could also be an idea?
